The NextLight Commercial Series is the most efficient full spectrum LED product line, period.
Most Efficient Full Spectrum LED in the Industry
NextLight has just released the most efficient full spectrum LED product line on the market. The NextLight Commercial Series has created a new standard in the LED grow light industry. Coming in at 2.15 PPF/Watt, the NextLight Mega uses only 650 watts and covers a 5 ft x 5 ft flower footprint and a 7 ft x 7 ft veg footprint.
The Commercial Series also includes the NextLight Veg8 and Mini. The Veg8 is designed to efficiently replace a fluorescent 8 tube T5 and supply even more intensity. This unit only draws 190 watts, covers a 2 ft x 4 ft veg footprint and comes in at 1.94 PPF/Watt.
Lastly, the Mini uses only 150 watts, covers a 2 ft x 2 ft flower footprint, a 3 ft x 3 ft veg footprint and comes in at 1.73 PPF/Watt. The Commercial Series is covered by a 5 year full manufacturer’s warranty, has a 100,000 hour life rating and is UL listed.
Efficiency = Savings
Switching from traditional grow lighting to NextLight Commercial Series fixtures you can expect to save tons of money on energy and bulb replacements. This is due to the NextLight Commercial Series fixtures having 100,000 hour life ratings and extreme efficiency in regards to operating each unit.
The NextLight Mega is a true DE 1000w HPS replacement — proven to grow.
The green line represents the NextLight Commercial Series spectrum, which encompasses the full spectrum of the HPS 1000 and more. Unlike the misguided purple LEDs of the past, NextLight matches and extends powerful white light that’s proven to grow.
NextLight’s Full Spectrum has been specifically designed to outperform the HPS spectrum, providing the same sun-like qualities plants love without the negatives of high energy requirements and high heat.
The HPS1000 has been the choice of the commercial greenhouse industry and hobby growers alike for 30+ years — its powerful white light simply delivers results.
LED competitors assume they can target certain colors to power the photosynthetic response curve. As any grower knows, the quest for the “perfect spectrum” is more of a gimmick than a scientific pursuit.
The promise of LED Grow Lights is now reality
In years past, the promise of LEDs didn’t always match the expectations. Coming onto the scene in the 1990s, white LEDs were still a rather new invention — and the somewhat suspect overseas manufacturing left much to be desired. Additionally, the variety of colors that were touted to be the “perfect grow spectrum,” further muddied the waters while delivering uninspiring results. NextLight however, uses only the most modern white LEDs which replicate the full, dynamic spectrum. This enables us to deliver the sun-like quality of the HPS 1000 over a long period of time — all while using just a fraction of the energy.
What Makes One Grow Light Better Than Another?
Here is a downloadable document intended to help navigate the ever changing grow light market. As technology advances and the gap between poor and quality manufactured grow lighting increases, it is important for consumers to be able to detect the red fags of the industry. In order to understand what really matters when comparing grow lights, one must first understand the fundamentals of light. We begin with the basic concept of light and finish with robust industry concepts such as; PAR, PPFD, DLI and PPF. Click HERE or the image to view.
Tested and Proven to be Safe
Product safety is a cornerstone of NextLight. That is why we are proud to be one of the few grow lights with Underwriters Laboratories Inc. approval. Underwriters Laboratories Inc. is an independent, nonprofit organization that writes testing standards and tests products for safety and certifies them. UL has developed more than 800 standards for safety, and millions of products and their components are tested to UL’s safety standards.
Tested and Proven to be the Most Efficient
Producing the highest efficiency and best quality grow lights is one of NextLight’s core missions. We are proud to be one of the only grow light manufacturers with DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) approval and the only 1000w replacement to be listed DLC Premium. The NextLight Mega's DLC Premium listing makes it the most efficient and longest lasting flowering fixture on the market.
This listing is not only a testament to NextLight’s true efficiency, but also allows our commercial customers to obtain the highest rebates and incentives from their energy providers.
The DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the widespread adoption of high-performing commercial lighting solutions. The DLC promotes high-quality, energy-efficient lighting products in collaboration with utilities and energy efficiency program members, manufacturers, lighting designers, and federal, state, and local entities. Through these partnerships, the DLC establishes product quality specifications, facilitates thought leadership, and provides information, education, tools and technical expertise.
